St. Paul’s Lutheran Church: 330 W. Highland Dr. — The Sunday School will host a Pumpkin Patch & Car Show Oct. 6 at 10th St. & Ashland Ave. The Pumpkin Patch will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Chicago Heights Southside Cruisers car show will be from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Trophies will be awarded. The Pumpkin Patch fall decorative items for sale, scarecrows, a bake sale and face painting. The annual Lutherfest German Dinner will be from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 13. Infant Jesus of Prague: 1131 Douglas Ave. — A special healing mass to the Miraculous Infant Jesus of Prague celebrated by Father Jerome Moras, OCD will be at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8. Moras will bring a holy porcelain replica of the Infant Jesus of Prague statue.

Hazel Crest Community United Methodist Church: 17050 S. California — The United Methodist Women will host “Songs for my Circle of Friends,” a dinner and concert featuring Beth Anne Hostert, Oct. 13. Dinner will be at 5:30 p.m. and the concert will be at 7 p.m. The cost of the concert is $15 per person and the cost of the dinner and concert is $25 per person.
